A Three Minute Guide To Peace

In my book, “Real Steps To Peace”, I write about steps that we can all take to find peace in our world. Below, you will find ideas that will help you take “real steps” today.

This first principle is that we are one. When you release thoughts of separation such as “us against them”, you will regain your peace. Forgiveness is essential. Even if you feel a grievance is justified, holding onto it will prevent you from feeling peace.

The second principle is that peace is found within. If you search outside of yourself for peace, it will be elusive. Make it your priority to do your inner work so that your connection with spirit is strong. This creates an intuitive guidance system that will help you make the best choices. My book teaches valuable tools to expand awareness such as self inquiry, prayer, meditation and action steps.

The third principle is that our internal worlds are reflected in our outer circumstances. Life is not happening to you, you are creating it. Resist the temptation to blame others. Take inspired, empowered action to manifest a heaven on earth.

The fourth principle is to extend peace and compassion to others. The greatest gift you receive is the one that you give away. You will feel a powerful sense of well being when you treat others the way you would like to be treated. Even if people act in ways that do not resonate with your core values, you can still share your loving kindness.

The fifth and final principle is to become an advocate for world peace. The method of exerting force against a perceived enemy has not worked. First, we must all take “real steps” to heal ourselves. By doing this, a shift will take place in the mass consciousness. When enough people stand for peace, it will become our shared reality.
